Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive at Johannesburg International Airport (OR Tambo), where you will be met
for private transfer to your hotel in Sandton/Rosebank.
Upon arrival at the hotel, check in.
Spend the balance of the day at leisure

Day 2

Breakfast at the hotel.
You will be met by your driver-guide for a Private Half Day Johannesburg City Tour.
 Discover Johannesburg, known as the ‘City of Gold’ and South Africa’s
economic heart.
 Travel through the bustling hub of the Newtown district, past Nelson
Mandela Bridge towards Constitution Hill.
 Enjoy a guided tour of Constitution Hill. Constitution Hill is a city precinct,
anchored by the South African Constitutional Court – the highest court in the
country on constitutional matters. Constitution Hill is also the site of
Johannesburg’s notorious Old Fort Prison Complex, where thousands of
ordinary people were brutally punished before the dawn of democracy.
 Should time allow, continue to the suburb of Sandton, one of
Johannesburg’s wealthiest neighbourhoods and spend some leisure time at
Sandton City and Nelson Mandela Square, prime shopping, lifestyle and
dining destinations.
 Nelson Mandela Square is also home to an iconic statue of Nelson
Mandela.
Return to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 33 NIGHTS KRUGER & MPUMALANGA EXPLORER

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.
You will be met by your driver for your private transfer to JNB airport.

You will be collected by your tour guide at either Johannesburg International
(O.R. Tambo) Airport or at your Johannesburg based hotel for a 3 night/4 day
private tour of the Mpumalanga province and the Kruger National Park.
Depart Johannesburg and drive through to Hannah Game Lodge.
Upon arrival at the hotel, check in.
Spend the balance of the day at leisure

Day 4

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and check out.
In the company of your tour guide enjoy a guided tour of the Panorama Route.
 Blyderivierspoort Nature Reserve stretches from Graskop to Swadini in the
north. The magnificent Blyde River Canyon, a gigantic gorge, is one of the
natural wonders of Africa. On both sides of the canyon, sand stone cliffs rise
between 600 and 800 m above the river bed. These cliffs are dominated by
three circular projections called the Three Sisters or Three Rondawels.
 God’s Window provides a view that is one of life’s great experiences.
 Don’t miss Bourke’s Luck Potholes – deep cylindrical cavities formed by river
erosion and flood water action.
Upon arrival at the hotel, check in.

Day 5

Transfer to the Kruger National Park for a Full Day Open Vehicle 4×4 Safari Game
Experience.
 This major international tourist draw card offers a wilderness experience,
which ranks with the best in Africa.
 The sight of elephant, lion, leopard, rhino and buffalo is always a thrill,
especially at close range.
Return to the hotel in the late afternoon.
Enjoy dinner at the hotel.

Day 6

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and check out.
Transfer back to Johannesburg. The transfer will take about 5-6 hours so it would
be recommended that clients book accommodation in Johannesburg if they
are not connecting with a late afternoon/evening flight.
